Child safety standards

Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Zero tolerance. ComeThru prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). ComeThru is available only to people age 16 or older and is not directed to children under 16.

What ComeThru prohibits

Users may not create, upload, request, possess, distribute, promote, or facilitate content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a person under 18. This prohibition includes:

Reporting a concern

Signed-in users can use the in-app report control on users, Hangs, chat messages, Gallery media, and Gallery comments. Select Child Sexual Exploitation or Abuse when applicable. You can also email hello@comethruapp.com. Include identifiers or links that help us locate the content, but do not download, copy, attach, or redistribute suspected CSAM.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact 911 or the appropriate local law-enforcement agency. ComeThru is not an emergency service.

How ComeThru responds

ComeThru prioritizes child-safety reports. We may preserve relevant account and content identifiers, restrict access, remove prohibited material, suspend or terminate accounts, prevent re-registration, and cooperate with lawful investigations. When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM, we take appropriate action and make reports to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or another appropriate authority as required by applicable law.

Automated media screening supports—but does not replace—user reports and human review. We do not promise that automated tools will detect every violation.
