ComeThru Competitions

Official Rules

Version 2026-09-23 · Last updated: September 23, 2026

Plain-English summary: Competitions are open to ComeThru members 18 and older who tap Join Competition and accept these rules. No purchase is necessary. Only activity after you join counts. Each competition shows its own dates, scoring, and prizes in the app. Cheating or abuse can disqualify you and cost you a prize. This summary is a courtesy, not a substitute for the rules below.

1. Sponsor

Each competition ("Competition") offered in the ComeThru app is sponsored by ComeThru App, Inc., 2862 Channel Drive, Ventura, CA 93003 ("Sponsor," "we," or "us"). Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors of, and are not involved with, any Competition.

2. These Rules and Campaign Details

These Official Rules apply to every Competition together with the details shown for that Competition in the app ("Campaign Details"): its start and end dates and times, whether it is global or limited to a local area, how entries are scored or judged, minimum activity requirements, and the prizes, prize quantities, and approximate retail values. If these Official Rules and the Campaign Details conflict, the Campaign Details control for that Competition only. The ComeThru Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.

The referral rewards ladder (the always-on tiers that unlock Vibes, Reps, or Premium time for inviting friends) is a membership benefit, not a Competition, and is not governed by these rules.

3. Eligibility

4. No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Standard message and data rates may apply to your use of the app.

5. How to Enter

Open the Competition in the ComeThru app, tap Join Competition, and accept the current version of these Official Rules. Joining is free. Only qualifying activity that occurs at or after the time you join counts toward a Competition; activity before you join, including a referred friend who qualified before you joined a referral Competition, does not count. Joining creates a record of the time you joined and the rules version you accepted.

Limit: one participation per member per Competition. Multiple accounts, shared accounts, or accounts created to gain an advantage are not permitted.

6. Scoring, Judging, and Winner Selection

Referral and activity Competitions are decided by objective scoring. Each qualifying action listed in the Campaign Details (for example, a referred friend who completes every referral requirement, a Hang you host or attend, or an approved Gallery photo) earns the points shown. Only activity our systems record and verify counts. Higher scores place higher; ties are broken by the earlier time the tied score was reached, then by a fixed order. Where the Campaign Details award a prize to the first entrants to reach a threshold, the actual time each entrant reached it controls.

Photo contests are contests of skill. Each entry must be your own approved photo from a Hang, submitted with the consent described in Section 9. Depending on the Campaign Details, winners are chosen either (a) by Sponsor's judges using the criteria stated in the Campaign Details (for example, creativity, composition, and unless the Campaign Details state otherwise: creativity and originality (40%), how well the photo captures the spirit of a ComeThru Hang and the Competition theme (40%), and photo quality and composition (20%)), or (b) by community votes cast in the app by eligible joined members, with ties broken by the earlier submission. Chance plays no part in selecting winners.

Results are not final until the Competition's settlement period has passed, delayed activity has been processed, and entries have been reviewed. Sponsor's decisions on scoring and eligibility are final and binding on matters within its discretion under these rules.

7. Fraud, Abuse, and Disqualification

Sponsor may review any entry or account and may hold, disqualify, or remove any entry, score, vote, or prize, at any time before or after a prize is delivered, if it reasonably believes a participant has: used fake, duplicate, or purchased accounts or referrals; coordinated artificial activity or votes; tampered with the app, location, or device signals; submitted content that is not their own or violates the Terms of Service; or otherwise acted unfairly or unlawfully. A flagged entry may be held for review before any prize is released. Sponsor may recover (claw back) or reverse any prize awarded in violation of these rules, to the extent permitted by law. Deleting your account ends your participation; a deleted or pending-deletion account is not eligible to win.

8. Prizes

9. Photo Entries: Content License and Publicity

By submitting a photo entry you confirm that the photo is your own, that you have every necessary permission from anyone shown in it, and that it complies with the Terms of Service. The consent you give when you submit (shown on the submission screen) grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and share the entry in the app and in ComeThru's own channels in connection with the Competition and its results, for two (2) years after the Competition ends, as described in that consent. You keep ownership of your photo. Except where prohibited by law, winners agree that Sponsor may use their ComeThru display name, profile photo, and winning entry to announce results without further compensation.

10. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on any prize. Sponsor may require a completed IRS Form W-9 and may issue an IRS Form 1099 to any winner whose prizes from Sponsor total $600 or more in a calendar year. A prize may be forfeited if required tax information is not provided.

11. Privacy

Information collected in connection with a Competition, including your join time, the rules version you accepted, your activity and scores, and (for local Competitions) a one-time location check that is not stored as coordinates, is used as described in the ComeThru Privacy Policy to run the Competition, prevent fraud, and deliver prizes.

12. General Conditions and Limitation of Liability

Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify a Competition if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity, and may then award prizes among eligible entries received before the event, as permitted by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete activity caused by device, network, or service failures. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BY PARTICIPATING YOU RELEASE SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION OR FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, AND SPONSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED AS STATED IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE. Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Disputes and Governing Law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from a Competition is resolved as provided in the dispute-resolution section of the Terms of Service, including its individual arbitration and class action waiver. Subject to that section, the state and federal courts located in Ventura County, California have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Winners List and Contact

Results appear in each Competition in the app after it is final. For a list of winners or questions about these rules, contact support@comethruapp.com or write to ComeThru App, Inc., 2862 Channel Drive, Ventura, CA 93003 within 60 days after the Competition ends.
